The Visit Hadrian’s Wall Hadrian’s Wall 1900 Festival has been launched. It’s a year long festival across 2022 marking 1,900 years since the Emperor Hadrian came to Britain in AD122 and ordered the wall to be built at the northern edge of the Roman Empire. Hundreds of events and activities are taking place between Jan 24 and Dec 23 next year along the full length of the wall, also including our acclaimed English Heritage Corbridge Roman Town.
