Following recent reports of concern about potential dog theft around Corbridge I have spoken to Northumbria Police and they have confirmed they are aware of the problems and will be vigilant. Their advice is that anybody who thinks their dog is in imminent danger should call 999 or if the risk is less imminent then please call 101. Obviously, the more detail that can be provided the more likely it is that the Police will be able to act i.e. descriptions, car registration etc..
