I’ve been working for better broadband and lobbying Ministers and recently the Government launched Project Gigabit with Northumberland at the front of the queue (see video of BBC News interview). Since then the Gigabit Broadband Voucher Scheme has been launched and Corbridge is an eligible area.
I’m talking to interested suppliers and will be hosting an online public information event very soon at which we can gauge interest from the Community and hear from the suppliers how they would approach a Corbridge project.

I’ll be working with local resident Michael Office who has been gauging interest from residents at the North end of the village so that we coordinate efforts.
