A few dog owners have reported that the new metal stile at the end of the rugby club pitches near the railway line is impossible for dogs to get across because of the metal steps that they would get their paws stuck into. It’s nigh on impossible to get a large dog across.

I’ve been in touch with the Council’s Countryside Officer and he’s writing to Network Rail to ask them if they will change it. We’ve been to inspect it and there is space in that panel between the posts to get an alternative gate in.
