Corbridge Tandoori Entered for Tiffin Cup

Our MP Guy Opperman has nominated the Corbridge Tandoori for the Tiffin Cup 2019 – a competition to find the best South Asian restaurant in the country.

Following the success of the Tiffin Cup last year, MPs have, for the 14th year running, been asked to nominate a restaurant in their constituency in this mouth watering competition. Last year 48 restaurants were nominated from around the UK, resulting in both a celebration of the quality of South Asian food in Britain and an opportunity to raise money for charity. This year the competition is in aid of World Vision, which works to support some of the poorest communities around the world.

The grand final of the Tiffin Cup 2019 will be held in the House of Commons on Tuesday 2 July 2019.

Guy Opperman MP said:

‘I am delighted that my nomination for Corbridge Tandoori has been accepted – this is a great competition celebrating fantastic food, and all for a good cause. I am sure people in Corbridge will be wishing this local restaurant every success.’
