Northumberland County Council has launched a grant scheme for energy saving improvements to homes, helping to reduce energy bills, improve home warmth and wellbeing.
Up to £10,000 worth of funding for improvements is available per home. To qualify households need to meet the nationally defined criteria for the grant:
- Residents must be homeowners, not tenants.
- Household income needs to be less than £30,000 or someone living in the household needs to be in receipt of benefits like Universal Credit, Income Support and Disability Allowance.
- The home needs to have an Energy Performance Rating (EPC) of D, E, F or G, something which we can help you to determine.
